CrossFit for Hope Day!!

Today is the day!! We will be joining in with hundreds of other CrossFit gyms for “CrossFit for Hope” which, if you haven’t caught wind of yet, is a fundraiser to help raise money for St. Jude’s Children Hospital to help fight childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. Amazing cause. It is totally optional to donate, but if you do feel inclined to donate, I created a general donation site for the gym at: https://hope.crossfit.com/sponsor?id=U28251. Any amount of money is an awesome gift. The hospital alone costs $1.7 million dollars A DAY to operate.

So, for today’s WOD for BOTH 9am and 10am classes, we will be working out in honor of CrossFit for Hope.

“Hope”

Three rounds of:

Burpees

Power Snatch (75/55)

Box Jump (24/20)

Thruster (75/55)

Chest to Bar Pull ups

“Hope” has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of “rotate,” the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep. Score is total reps.

We will also be doing this as a partner workout. One partner will workout while one judges, and then we will switch. As with every workout, every thing is scalable!
