BOOYAH!!! Time to get Filthy

FILTHY FIFTY!!! What a great way to start the week with a nasty WOD such as this. A couple of things-

First, let’s shoot for Rx today! Only way we are going to get better is by pushing ourselves. Intensity produces results. What you put into your workout will be the result.

Second, it may be appealing to use a different weight, a different box, or settle for the modifications etc. It’s not necessarily wrong and I completely understand if you don’t have one of the exercises just yet, or want to make the workout harder, however, the intent of a benchmark WOD is to see where you compare against your previous time, and the scores of people around the world. My goal for you is to grow as a CrossFitter. Look at your notes and see what you did previously, make improvements, and do your best! Mer you’re off easy on this one, won’t make you go heavier ;)…

Lastly, this is a great chipper and I would love to see a lot of people in the gym and to see some great improvements…take short rest and keep moving through the workout!

Ps..There is a modification…but it’s at the coaches discretion ;)

50 Box jump Rx (20”/24”)
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings Rx (26#/35#)
Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press Rx (35#/45#)
50 Back extensions
50 Wall balls Rx (14#/20#)
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

    Whoops, so did I. Perhaps that’s why I’ve been wrecked for the rest of the day. Nah, that’s Marshall yelling in my ear “ONLY 48 more burpees to go”. How’s that supposed to be motivating?

    You are right Mer, Marshall is doing a fantastic job. However, this am at 6 halfway through the workout he was like ha,ha…uh guys I forgot to add knees to elbows to the list, so uh, like, don’t forget to do those…sorry… UGH.
